The professional, who held the position of Commercial Director for 15 years, will lead the operation in Mexico
Monterrey, February 2021- NIC Mexico appointed its new CEO, Ernesto Bojórquez, who was in charge for 15 years of the Commercial area and was also President of LACTLD for two terms.
Ernesto began his professional career at NIC Mexico in 2002, 19 years ago. He worked in the organization as Planning Manager for 1 year, User Services Manager for 2 years and was appointed Commercial Director in 2005. In addition, he has worked in places such as CETYS University, Deming Mexico, Grupo Reforma, ICAMI and Tecnológico de Monterrey, where he is currently a professor. In relation to the Association, Ernesto has been a member of the LACTLD Board of Directors for approximately 4 years, which he chaired from 2018 to 2020.

The Association congratulates Ernesto Bojórquez for his new position at NIC Mexico and for his continuous contribution to LACTLD. It also congratulates NIC Mexico, which for almost 30 years has shown its commitment to the development of the regional and global Internet both as a founding member of LACTLD and LACNIC, as well as through its participation in the global meetings that that led to the creation of ICANN.
